Informed Consent & Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participating in calisthenics, strength training, skill-based movements, and competitive physical activity carries inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, sprains, strains, bruises, falls, joint injuries, fractures, and other physical harm. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this competition, including warm-ups, events, training, and the use of Calibar Fitness equipment or premises.
Nature of the Event
I understand that this competition involves high physical exertion, dynamic movements, and activities that may not be supervised at every moment. I acknowledge that staff and volunteers may be present for event coordination, but no guaranteed spotting, coaching, or instruction is provided unless explicitly stated.
Medical Responsibility
I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event. I do not have medical conditions that would prevent safe participation, or I choose to participate despite them at my own risk. I understand that Calibar Fitness does not provide onsite medical personnel. If I feel pain, dizziness, or injury, I agree to stop immediately and seek medical attention. I authorize Calibar Fitness to obtain emergency medical assistance if necessary, and I accept responsibility for any related costs.
Release of Liability & Waiver of Claims
In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Calibar Fitness, its owners, staff, volunteers, organizers, and agents from all liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in this competition or use of Calibar facilities. This includes injuries caused by the ordinary negligence of the released parties. I agree not to bring any claims or legal action against Calibar Fitness for any reason arising from my participation. I further agree to indemnify and hold Calibar Fitness harmless from any claims brought by others related to my actions.
Photo & Video Release
I grant Calibar Fitness permission to capture my image or likeness through photography or video during the event, and to use this content for marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes on social media, websites, and printed materials. I understand I will not receive compensation for this usage.
